Residential Air Conditioning Certificate
The Residential Air Conditioning Certificate prepares entry-level heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) technicians to work on various residential air conditioning systems. You will develop a basic understanding of window air conditioning units, split-system air conditioning units, air source heat pumps, and geothermal heat pumps. Training will include electrical troubleshooting, the servicing, and cleaning of residential air conditioning systems, humidity control, and HVAC manifold gauge sets, voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and diagnostic test equipment use.
