Residential Heating Certificate

The Residential Heating Certificate prepares entry-level heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) technicians to work on various residential heating systems. You'll develop a basic understanding of gas heating systems, electrical heating systems, air-to-air heat pumps, and geothermal heat pumps. Training will include electrical troubleshooting, servicing and cleaning residential heating systems, and use of equipment like voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and diagnosis test equipment.
