Black Box Theater | God of Carnage
Our First Professional Summer Play
McHenry County College is proud to introduce McHenry County's newest professional summer theatre; The Black Box Summer Theatre. The inaugural production will be God of Carnage by Yasmina Reza and directed by Kellee Stall. Winner of the 2009 Tony Award, God of Carnage tells the story of how a playground altercation between eleven-year-old boys bring together two sets of Brooklyn parents for a meeting to resolve the matter. At first, diplomatic niceties are observed, but as the meeting progresses, and the rum flows, tensions emerge and the gloves come off, leaving the couples with more than just their liberal principles in tatters.
