Jessie Spinnato, Academic Advisor

Hi! My name is Jessie Spinnato, and I am one of the Academic Advisors at MCC. I also attended MCC and earned my Associate of Science here. I then transferred to Eastern Illinois University, where I earned my bachelor’s in psychology and my master’s in school counseling.

Community college can be both exciting and stressful, so try to make the most of your time here. Join a club, utilize your resources, ask for help when you need it, try something new, and make new friends. There are so many amazing people at MCC who truly want to help you have a positive and successful experience.

Three things you should know about me:

  1. When it comes to football, I am a Los Angeles Rams fan.
  2. I played softball at MCC and was a pitcher. I now play on a slow-pitch softball team.
  3. I enjoy going on hikes and traveling to different states and national parks to explore and experience nature. So far, I have been to Colorado, South Dakota, Missouri, Iowa, Indiana, Kentucky, and Tennessee.
