Meet Emily Flores, Pathway Coach
Pathway Coach
Hello, my name is Emily Flores, and I am one of the pathway coaches here at MCC. My office is tucked into Co/Lab A, which overlooks the Zen Garden.
I hold a BA in elementary education. Before coming to MCC, I worked as an elementary school teacher and later transitioned to roles in healthcare and workforce development. I was also a first-generation college student and empathize with those who are navigating their college experience for the first time. My door is always open to students who need guidance, support, or just someone to listen.
Three fun facts about me:
- I enjoy reading non-fiction, including memoirs and biographies, as well as different topics in modern American history.
- Some of my bucket list items include taking a road trip along the coasts of the United States, traveling back to Spain, and learning to play the ukulele.
- I am a self-proclaimed plant mom. I hope to design a wildflower garden for my backyard soon!
