Mary Michaelis

2026 Education to Empowerment Scholarship Recipient

Mary Michaelis is completing her associate’s degree at MCC with plans to continue her studies in social work at Aurora University through the University Center. She is interested in working in a school setting supporting children’s mental health, but is still exploring a variety of potential career paths. Mary enjoys learning new instruments and creating music. In high school, she was involved in tech crew, where she helped create an inclusive environment and encouraged more young women to participate.
