Megan Gordon

2023 Education to Empowerment Scholarship Recipient

Megan Gordon has been interested in designing houses from a young age. After completing her Associate in Engineering Science at MCC, she plans to transfer to a four-year school to earn her bachelor’s degree in civil engineering—and one day plans on going for her master’s. Megan is interested in working as a structural engineer, specifically for a company that designs and builds residential buildings. She hopes to design and build her own home one day and wants to eventually start her own architecture firm. Megan is active in student life at MCC, participating in Phi Theta Kappa and the mentorship program “MCC and Me.” Outside of her career goals, Megan has always had a passion for cars and wants to restore and sell cars in the future.
