Ximena Garcia Esparza

2023 Education to Empowerment Scholarship Recipient

Ximena Garcia Esparza plans to study environmental science and sustainability at either DePaul University or the University of Illinois at Chicago. She is interested in teaching, mentoring, and research. Ximena also intends to pursue master’s degrees in various fields after receiving her bachelor’s degree so she can choose from several employment opportunities and make an impact in a variety of ways. Ximena is always striving to improve as a thinker, researcher, and person.
