The McHenry County College (MCC) Concert Band will perform as part of the 2023-24 MCC Concert Series on Sunday, November 19 at 3 p.m. The concert will take place at Woodstock High School, 501 South Street.
Under the direction of Dr. Paige Lush, the ensemble will perform works by Brahms, Sousa, selections from the video game Civilization VI, and more. The concert is free to attend and open to the public.
The MCC Concert Series features a variety of classical, jazz, and folk musicians from the greater Chicago area, along with semiannual concerts featuring the MCC chorus, concert band, and jazz ensemble. Upcoming performances include MCC Jazz Ensembles on November 29 at 7 p.m.; the Cor Corps horn ensemble on December 2 at 7 p.m.; and the MCC Student Recital on December 3 at 7 p.m.
