University Center at MCC – Frequently Asked Questions
Let us answer your questions about the University Center at MCC, our partner universities, and the degree programs available.
It is located in Woodstock, off the Woodstock Square, at 222 East Church Street.
There is ample parking, as well as access to the Metra Woodstock train station across the street.
The University Center at MCC will open for Fall 2024 classes.
Aurora University, Northern Illinois University, Roosevelt University, and Southern Illinois University Carbondale have partnered with MCC to offer coursework at the University Center at MCC.
Currently, coursework in the following areas will be offered:
- Elementary Education, Social Work, RN to BSN, Master of Arts in Education, Master of Social Work through Aurora University
- Business Administration, Computer Science, Early Childhood Education, Public Health, and Psychology through Northern Illinois University
- Criminal Justice, Graphic Design, BSBA Finance, BSBA Human Resources, BSBA Marketing, Master of Business Administration through Roosevelt University
- Accounting and Industrial Management and Applied Engineering through Southern Illinois University Carbondale
All programs will have in-person and online coursework, commonly known as hybrid format.
Degrees will be awarded directly from each specific university.
Once accepted to a four-year institution, students will receive information on how to register with their appropriate University Center at MCC partner university.

No additional partners will be added for Fall 2024. However, it is possible that more could be added in the future.
Faculty will be selected and hired through the partner universities. Postings of open positions will be made available as needed.
Tuition and fees are set by each university partner and may vary depending on the program. University Center at MCC students will be eligible for financial aid and scholarships.
Any student who meets the admissions criteria for the partner university’s program and intends to earn a bachelor’s degree will be eligible.
At this time, courses through each partner university will start each fall semester only.
University Center at MCC partners will honor existing guaranteed admission agreements already in place with MCC. At this point, MCC has not negotiated additional guaranteed admission for University Center programs. An MCC student/graduate must meet the admissions criteria for the partner university’s program in order to enroll.
Yes, each university will have a dedicated person onsite at the University Center at MCC to assist you with advising, financial aid, and other resources you may need as a student. MCC can also act as a facilitator to connect you with resources at the partner institutions.
University Center at MCC students will have access to many MCC resources such as the MCC Library and MCC Store. In addition, each university will have a dedicated person onsite at the University Center at MCC to assist students with advising, financial aid, and other resources.
We hope to have the renovation completed by Summer 2024.
While the exterior of the existing building will remain intact, renovations will include the building’s interior space, including updated classrooms and student spaces, offices, student lounge, and additional restrooms.
While we have not yet finalized this, we are looking into offering meeting spaces for rental groups in the future.
