Kayla Toussaint
Student Success Coach
Hi, my name is Kayla and I am one of the Student Success Coaches at MCC. My office is in Co/Lab A (A218B), right next to the Zen Garden on campus.
I attended Judson University where I received my bachelor's degree in exercise sports science with a minor in psychology. Then, I continued my education and received master's degree in applied health sciences from Concordia University Chicago. I understand the demands that higher education brings and the importance of what earning a degree or certificate can bring to your future. Through guidance and support, my hope is to build students’ confidence and instill a sense of power in and out of the classroom where they know they can be successful in their futures.
Three things you should know about me:
- My hobbies include powerlifting competitions and obstacle course races.
- I ran a marathon.
- If I’m not working, I’m spending time with my family.
