Trevor Bryan, Academic Advisor

Hello! My name is Trevor Bryan, and I’m an Academic Advisor here at MCC. You can find me in my office, A257N, within the Academic Advising Office.

My educational journey began at MCC, where I worked toward my Associate in Arts, and after two years, I transferred to Grand Valley State University to earn my Bachelor of Arts in Advertising, Public Relations, and Applied Communication, with a minor in Sociology, in 2019. I take pride in my education as a first-generation college student.

Over the years, I’ve worked in a variety of roles here at the college, but working directly with students through academic advising has always been my favorite part. Thanks to my background, I’ve acquired a holistic view of the student experience. I am excited to make a difference in students’ educational journeys; I’ve been through it myself, so you can count on me to support you every step of the way!

Three things you should know about me:

  1. I incorporate humor into almost everything I do. To live is to laugh, right?
  2. Playing RPG video games is a fun pastime for me.
  3. My cats, Mr. Gravy and Tiny Teena, and my nephew make me a proud father and uncle.
