Courtney Komperda

2025 Education to Empowerment Scholarship Recipient

Courtney Komperda wants to help people gain confidence and overcome communication barriers as a speech-language pathologist. After completing her studies at MCC, she plans to transfer to a four-year university, then attend graduate school. Outside the classroom, Courtney is the captain of MCC’s volleyball team and is on the Student-Athlete Council. She credits the athletics program with helping to enhance her leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
