Julia Hansen

2025 Education to Empowerment Scholarship Recipient

Julia Hansen has been intrigued by numbers her whole life. She was inspired by her calculus classes to pursue a career in actuarial science, or predicting risk using statistics and math. Julia wants to use these skills to help people make informed decisions and to develop models that target risks like climate change. She is passionate about environmental sustainability and enjoys volunteering. Julia is a first-generation college student.
