Isabella Doles

2022 Education to Empowerment Scholarship Recipient

Isabella Doles (Huntley) dreams of becoming a pilot—and is already working hard to accomplish her goal. In addition to a full-time course load at MCC, Isabella takes pilot training courses at Lake in the Hills airport and works 20 hours per week at her part-time job. Through hard work, support, and determination, she graduated high school at 16 years old, which allowed her to get started toward her career earlier. She has always been interested in traveling and learning about different cultures, and plans to obtain a bachelor’s degree in international business in addition to becoming a commercial pilot. She is fluent in Mandarin and plans to fly and possibly live internationally. She also volunteers in her community filming various events and is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa honor society at MCC.
