2022 Education to Empowerment Scholarship Recipient

Valeria Arreguin plans to transfer to a four-year university to earn a bachelor’s degree in English after earning her associate degree from MCC. Her goal is to become both an independent author and hold a full-time writing job. She works hard to earn good grades and prioritizes learning from experiences and connecting with her professors and fellow students. Valeria is a first-generation college student.
