2022 Education to Empowerment Scholarship Recipient

Yeika Ares is a first-generation college student and mother who is returning to school after putting her education on pause. Her goal is to become a middle school social worker where she can guide and support the next generation of students. Through her education, Yeika endeavors to become the woman she has always wanted to be: strong, independent, honest, loyal, and capable of achieving greatness. She strives to make her family proud and be a good role model for her son, family, and community.
