Paramedic Certificate
The Paramedic Certificate includes four paramedic modules and one internship semester. You will earn 38 hours of college credit and be eligible to sit for the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians Exam. A successful attempt at the NREMT exam allows the student to apply for a professional license from all 50 states. This training is considered advanced emergency medical care and can be used to obtain jobs in EMS, the fire service, hospital systems, and private industry.
Working as an EMS provider requires significant physical strength, dexterity, and the ability to function in very adverse environments with exposure to numerous safety risks typically found at emergency scenes.
