Registration Now Open for Summer 2026 Classes

Registration is now open for Summer 2026 classes at McHenry County College (MCC). The College offers a wide range of transferrable courses designed to help students move forward in their education.

Summer classes are a convenient option for students planning to start college in the fall, as well as those returning home from a four-year university for the summer. Taking classes at MCC can help students save time and money while completing general education requirements, getting ahead in their programs, or exploring new interests in areas such as art, music, marketing, science, math, and more.

Courses are offered in flexible formats—including in-person, online, or as a blend of both—with class times scheduled to fit around work, internships, and other summer commitments.

“Summer is a great opportunity for students to build momentum toward their goals,” said Kristen Mueller, Director of Admissions and Recruitment at MCC. “Whether someone wants to earn transferable credits, explore a potential career path, or stay on track with their degree, MCC’s summer courses make it easy to keep moving forward."

Students can also begin training in a variety of career-focused programs, including Automotive, Horticulture, Administrative Office Technologies, HVAC, and more.

In addition to offering a high-quality education at a fraction of the cost of many four-year institutions, MCC provides scholarships, grants, and flexible payment plans to help make college more affordable.

Most Summer classes begin June 15 with some starting as early as May 16. Enroll for summer classes today.
