MCC Announces Andrew Goll as 2022 Distinguished Alumni

McHenry County College (MCC) and the Friends of McHenry County College Foundation have named Andrew Goll as the winner of the 2022 Distinguished Alumni Award. He is recognized for his extraordinary contributions to both his field and to the community.

Goll is the President of Weiler Engineering, Inc. He has over 26 years of experience with Blow-Fill-Seal technology and has worked in a wide variety of technical roles including research and development, design engineering, contract and generic manufacturing, plant operations, and global technical support. He is a member of the Parenteral Drug Association (PDA), the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE), and was recently appointed to the Blow-Fill-Seal International Operators Association Extended Working Board. He has received patents and recognition for various mechanical designs and sterilization processes.

Goll holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with a minor in marketing and a Master of Business Administration from Webster University. In his free time, he enjoys deep sea fishing, hunting, playing golf, and spending time with his wife and three kids.

MCC recently honored Goll at a Distinguished Alumni Luncheon on February 19 at Boulder Ridge Country Club.

“Our Distinguished Alumni are a driving force behind what we do at the College,” said Brian DiBona, executive director of the Friends of MCC Foundation. “They shine as a bright light in our community and are a testament to the value of an MCC education. We’re proud to call Andy an MCC alum, and excited to honor him with this award.”

Goll is among a growing list of community college alumni throughout the U.S. that includes renowned doctors, business leaders, artists, government leaders, athletes, and scientists. MCC’s distinguished alumni are evidence of the important role community colleges serve as educational stepping stones toward successful careers.
