Precision Machining AAS

Precision machinists are essential in making parts for industrial equipment, medical devices, and consumer goods. These skilled professionals analyze blueprints, create designs, cut metal, build projects, and regularly maintain machinery.

In MCC’s Precision Machining program, you'll gain an in-depth understanding of the advanced computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) skills needed for programming tool location, motion, and, feeds and speeds. You’ll also receive hands-on experience using manual and CNC lathes, mills, and precision measuring equipment to design and produce a variety of parts and assemblies used in today’s ever-changing world of manufacturing.
