About the Student Farm

MCC began growing food in 2020, and with two high tunnels, it can produce food throughout the winter. The MCC Student Farm has expanded to include trellised fruit trees, elderberries, hops, and other specialty crops, as well as ornamental and native gardens. Students in the Entrepreneurial Agriculture and Horticulture program gain hands-on experience growing food for our café and culinary department.

MCC Student Farm Produce Stand

The MCC Student Farm Produce Stand is open on Tuesdays in the MCC Café, allowing students and staff to stock up on their favorite certified organic vegetables grown on campus at the Student Farm. Honey directly from the farm's hives is often available. Can't make it to the produce stand? After the stand, the cooler in the Café is stocked with the remaining produce until Friday morning.
