MCC Board of Trustees Consolidated Election

The McHenry County College Board of Trustees has three six-year seats open for board members for the April 1, 2025, Consolidated Election.

The petition filing period is now closed. Petitions became available on August 20, and filing started on November 12 and ended on November 18 at 5 p.m.

  • Wednesday, November 13 - None Received
  • Thursday, November 14 - Tess Reinhard, Crystal Lake, IL
  • Friday, November 15 - Tom Allen, Lakewood, IL
  • Monday, November 18 - None Received

According to the Illinois Public Community College Act, whether filling a vacancy or running for election, all candidates for the position must meet the following eligibility requirements. A candidate must be:

  • A U.S. Citizen
  • A resident of the community college district (MCC District #528) for at least one year immediately preceding the election
  • At least 18 years of age
