Return to MCC and pay down your past-due tuition bill…at no cost to you!
We want to help you continue your studies—while reducing your debt. Our “Learn it to Earn it” program is designed to help you restart your education at MCC. For every course you pass with a C or above, we’ll remove the cost of tuition per credit from your past-due bill.
Who's eligible? Students who have outstanding tuition and fee debt to the College and who have not taken a credit class at MCC for at least two years may be eligible. Outstanding balances accrued while a student was in high school, prior to matriculation to MCC, are ineligible for the Learn it to Earn it program. Beginning with the Fall 2026 term, students may only enter the Learn it to Earn it program once, and must remain continuously enrolled each Fall and Spring term to continue in the program.
What would be a real-life example of how this program works? If you passed a three-credit course with a C or above, we would remove $379.50 from your bill (at $126.50/credit hour). This tuition rate is effective with the Fall 2026 term.
What about the upcoming semester of classes? Students are responsible for paying for their upcoming semester of classes using financial aid, scholarships, or payment plans. Current-term balances must be paid in full before a past-due amount is removed.
