MCC provides free rides to and from campus for classes or MCC events through a partnership with MCRide and Pace. Rides are intended for urgent transportation needs or extenuating circumstances. MCRide is a dial-a-ride service providing curb-to-curb, wheelchair-accessible shared ride transportation. Call (800) 451-4599 48 hours in advance to schedule a ride between 5 a.m.–11 p.m., Monday–Friday. Be prepared to show your MCC student ID to the driver. District boundaries apply.
- Student Success Fund for Emergency Financial Assistance
The Student Success Fund helps MCC students by providing financial support of up to $500 when emergencies put their continued education at risk. Request emergency funding
- Food Insecurity Relief - Purple Pantry
The Purple Pantry provides café coupons for a meal on campus. Request a Purple Pantry coupon at one of these campus locations, the Co/Labs: A218, B166, E108, The Student Resource Center: A247, Academic Advising: A257, A252, or Campus Safety: B176.
MCC mini food pantries are available for quick snacks on campus. They also provide basic hygiene items. Pantries are located in the Student Resource Center, A247, and Co-Labs: A218, B166, and E108.
MCC also connects students with community resources like the Crystal Lake Food Pantry. MCC’s partnership with the Crystal Lake Food Pantry allows any MCC student in need to pick up fresh meat, eggs, produce, and nonperishable and personal care items at their downtown location.

We can help you access professional clothing through partnerships with local profit and non-profit clothing resale establishments. All you need to do is fill out a voucher, then shop for exactly what you need from our partner stores. See voucher locations
