Architectural Technology, AAS
In the Architectural Technology, AAS program*, you'll study the ideas, methods, and processes behind how architecture is conceptualized, designed, and built. The curriculum focuses on the latest building delivery processes, software, design processes, and communication methods.
Graduates of the program can seek employment in architecture and building design-related firms as entry-level designers or in architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) firms as entry-level computer-aided design (CAD) and building information modeling (BIM) technicians or transfer their credits to a bachelor's degree program to continue their education.
Choose the option that best suits your educational and professional goals.
The Architectural Technology, AAS (Design Option) focuses on the principles of architectural design and the methods used to communicate them to clients and stakeholders. If you pursue the Design Option, you can also transfer to an architecture program offering a bachelor's degree, allowing you to pursue an architectural license.
