Basic Welding Technician Certificate

MCC’s Basic Welding Technician Certificate will prepare you for an entry-level position in welding. You'll learn welding safety, and blueprint reading, and will have experience with Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), Flux Cored Arc Welding (FCAW), Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), and Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) processes. You'll be eligible for specialized welding certifications through the American Welding Society (AWS).

Those who have had prior welding coursework may transfer it to the college for advanced placement in welding courses.
