Philosophy

The study of philosophy teaches you to ask questions, contrast viewpoints, and problem-solve.

The universal skills learned in MCC’s philosophy program can be applied to just about every career. You’ll explore the ultimate questions of human existence: reality, truth, knowledge, human nature, God, and morality. Through the lens of our modern society, you’ll look at the philosophy of religion, the religions of the world, and the application of ethics as it applies to biology and the world around us. As the program progresses, you’ll study methods of reasoning and techniques for analyzing, evaluating, and presenting arguments and explore famous philosophers and schools of thought.
