The McHenry County College (MCC) Concert Band will perform their Spring Concert Sunday, April 19 at 3 p.m. at the MCC Conference Center (A211–215), 8900 US Hwy. 14 in Crystal Lake.
The program includes selections such as "With Joyful Abandon" by local composer Lori Archer Southerland and "Jupiter" by Gustav Holst. The MCC Flute Choir will also be featured.
Upcoming MCC Music events include the MCC Jazz Ensembles on April 22 at 7 p.m., the MCC String Orchestra and Chamber Ensembles on April 28 at 7 p.m., the MCC Guitar Ensemble and Concert Choir on April 30 at 7 p.m., the MCC Piano and Organ Recital on May 1 at 6 p.m. (Room B257), the MCC Student Recital on May 1 at 7:30 p.m., and the MCC Wind Ensemble and Marengo High School Band on May 3 at 3 p.m. at The Venue at Indian Oaks Park in Marengo. All concerts take place in the Luecht Auditorium unless otherwise noted, are free to attend, and are open to the public.
