Registration is now open for Summer 2025 classes at McHenry County College (MCC). The College offers a wide variety of transferrable courses that can help students take the next step in their education.
Summer courses are ideal for those starting college in the fall or home for the summer from a four-year school. Students can save time and money by completing a few general education courses, getting a head start on their studies, or simply learning a new skill in art, music, marketing, science, math, and more.
Many classes are available in-person, online, or as a blend of both, and are offered at various times of the day to fit around other summer plans.
“Taking summer classes at MCC is a great way for students to stay on track with their academic goals while also making the most of their summer,” said Kristen Mueller, Director of Admissions and Recruitment at MCC. “Whether you’re getting ahead, exploring new interests, or gaining valuable career skills, summer courses offer the flexibility to make progress without the full commitment of a traditional semester.”
Students can also get started in a wide variety of career training programs in Automotive, Horticulture, Administrative Office Technologies, HVAC, Architectural and Engineering Design Technology, and more.
In addition to already offering college education at a fraction of the cost of a four-year school, MCC offers a variety of scholarships, grants, and payment plans to help students pay for school. Payment options can be found here.
Summer classes begin as early as May 19. Reserve your spot today.
