The McHenry County College (MCC) Concert Band will perform their Spring Concert Sunday, April 27 at 3 p.m. at Woodstock High School, 501 W. South Street in Woodstock.
The program will feature selections such as “Tournament Galop” by Louis Moreau Gottschalk, “A Little Concert Suite” by Alfred Reed, “The Picador” by John Philip Sousa, “They Hung Their Harps in the Windows” by W. Francis McBeth, “The Country Club Stomp!” by JaRod Hall, “In the Shining of the Stars” by Robert Sheldon, and “Conga del Fuego Nuevo” by Arturo Marquez.
Upcoming MCC Music events include the MCC Piano and Organ Recital on May 2 at 6 p.m. (Room B257) and the MCC Student Recital, also on May 2 at 7:30 p.m. in the College’s Luecht Auditorium.
