People in Need Forum Returns to McHenry County College January 25

The 24th annual People in Need (PIN) Forum is set to take place Saturday, January 25 from 8:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. at McHenry County College (MCC). More than 125 exhibitors will attend the Forum to showcase important community resources available to help those in need.

Pre-registration is encouraged. 

PIN is for both those seeking resources or those who want to volunteer. Attendees can engage in insightful discussions and gain valuable knowledge that can inspire them to make a difference in McHenry County.

Three breakout sessions will also be held at 9 a.m., 10:30 a.m., and 12 p.m. respectively. Topics to be addressed in the sessions include mental health, immigration, senior issues, suicide prevention, youth resources, grief, local resources, and more. Speakers will present for 45 minutes and leave time for a 15-minute Q&A at the end of each session. Exhibitor booths will remain open until 1 p.m.

PIN will also offer a Spanish track which includes a breakout session at each time offered in Spanish.

A PDF of the newly expanded community resource directory, which is the only one of its kind in the Chicago area, will be available for download online. Attendees will also receive a hard copy.
