Specialty Growers Intensive: Cut Flower Production

Join us for this two-day intensive workshop on growing and marketing cut flowers. The weekend will feature presentations on starting from seed, transplants, field prep, and harvest, as well as on varietal selection, record keeping, market differentiation, and design. Participants will also experience hands-on demonstrations of tools and techniques in our high tunnels.

• Saturday and Sunday, March 1 and 2, 2025, from 9 a.m.–4:30 p.m. each day
• McHenry County College, Crystal Lake, IL, F108
• The cost to attend is $345. This includes access to multiple instructors, a resource binder, hands-on demonstrations, and catered lunches and snacks each day.

Each Specialty Growers Intensive is led by multiple specialists and farmers who have trialed many systems. They will share their successes and failures. They will be on hand all weekend, bringing diverse perspectives to the learning.
