A Christmas Carol Revisited - Scrooge's Reclamation

For many people, the holidays are a time of moral self-reflection. In addition to celebrating Christmas, Charles Dickens’s A Christmas Carol is a profound meditation that challenges us to think about duty to others, personal happiness, and moral transformation. In this presentation, we use role play, film, PowerPoint, and discussion to examine Scrooge’s change from a closed-hearted miser to an open-hearted philanthropist. A Q&A will follow the presentation.

Schedule

  • 5:30-6 p.m. Music provided by the Evergreen Collective and Refreshments
