Specialty Growers Intensive: Small Farm Equipment
Join us for this two-day intensive workshop on the equipment and tools used in specialty crop production. We’ll cover everything from field preparation, planting, cultivating, and harvesting, focusing on growing annual vegetables and flowers. The weekend will include extensive hands-on demonstrations (outside and in our high tunnels), sessions on wash-pack equipment, purchasing/renting considerations, and more.
This workshop is led by specialists and farmers who have trialed many systems and will share their favorite machines and tools (and why). Sam Oschwald Tilton of Glacial Drift Enterprises will lead this event, joined by Tim Brown of Broadview Farm and Gardens and Morgan Snedden of Fox at the Fork.
