Career Spark Scholarships

MCC offers financial support to students interested in noncredit career training programs that provide professional certification, licensure, or other industry-recognized credentials.

  • Pipeline for the Advancement of the Healthcare Workforce (PATH) Grant Funding - PATH funding assists students who are interested in either entering or advancing in the healthcare field. The PATH grant helps you pursue programs or training that will allow you to gain employment in high-demand occupations. Eligible Career Spark Programs include EKG Technician, Phlebotomy Technician, Medical Assistant, and Pharmacy Technician.
  • Richmond Spring Grove Area Rotary Club Career Spark Scholarship - Students, 16 years or older, who reside in the 60071, 60081, 60033, and 60034 zip codes and are furthering their education through noncredit workforce and career spark programs may apply for funding. Applicants are eligible for up to 75% of course tuition, with a maximum of $1,000. Students must complete the Career Spark Scholarship Application.
  • Rotary Club of Cary-Grove Career Spark Scholarship - Students, 16 years or older, who reside in the 60013 or 60021 zip codes and are furthering their education through noncredit workforce and career spark programs may apply for funding. Applicants are eligible for up to 75% of course tuition, with a maximum of $2,000. Students must complete the Career Spark Scholarship Application.
  • Rotary Club of Crystal Lake Dawnbreakers Career Spark Scholarship – Students, 16 years or older, who reside in the 60012, 60014, or 60039 zip codes and are furthering their education through noncredit workforce and Career Spark programs may apply for funding. Applicants are eligible for up to 75% of course tuition, with a maximum of $2,500. Students must complete the Career Spark Scholarship Application.
  • Rotary Club of Lake in the Hills Career Spark Scholarship - Students, 16 years or older, who reside in the 60156, 60102, or 60012 zip codes and are furthering their education through noncredit workforce and career spark programs may apply for funding. Applicants are eligible for up to 75% of course tuition, with a maximum of $1,000. Students must complete the Career Spark Scholarship Application.
  • Vocational Career Spark Scholarship - The Vocational Career Spark Scholarship awards students who enroll in professional certification and career spark programs up to 50% of the course fee. Students must complete the Career Spark Scholarship Application and may be asked to attend a brief in-person interview. Students ages 16 and older may apply.
  • Waterloo Vocational Scholarship – The Waterloo Vocational Scholarship awards students who enroll in professional certification and career spark programs up to 75% of the course fee. Students must complete the Career Spark Scholarship Application. Students aged 16 and older may apply.
