See an Advisor

Don't wait until registration starts – see an advisor now. Our advising team can assist you with:

  • reviewing your transcript and verifying your assigned registration date
  • discussing and selecting classes
  • creating your academic plan
  • choosing a degree or certificate program
  • preparing for transfer
  • checking your progress toward degree completion

You can meet with an advisor on a walk-in basis. Visit the Advising and Transfer Center (A257).

See a Counselor

You must meet with a counselor if you have been restricted from registration because your GPA is below a 2.0. Counselors can:

  • lift this restriction (see a counselor as soon as possible!)
  • help with choosing a college major or future career
  • assist when you're experiencing emotional pain, struggling in your personal life or struggling academically

Call to make an appointment (815 455-8765) or visit the Counseling Center (A257).
