Assist with the development and implementation of department events and activities including but not limited to:
- Annual publication of the Green Guide Recycling directory
- Green Living Expo
- Bioneers Speaker series
Support student environmental club as directed
Assist with general recycling questions - via phone, email and mailings
General office assistance as needed – filing, exhibit preparation, data entry, internet research
Support as directed for implementation of Sustainability Strategic Plan
Experience using Microsoft office - Word, Excel, Power point, Outlook
Excellent telephone and customer service skills
Excellent communication and organizational skills
An interest in sustainability and related concepts helpful but not required
Creative suggestions and an excellent sense of humor a plus
Organizational skills, office management, customer service
Communication tools Broaden knowledge of sustainability initiatives and special topics
Exposure to a variety of careers and career paths Community networking and service learning opportunities
