Web Design and Development AAS
Are you interested in combining your creativity and computer know-how with a love of web design and animation? MCC offers certificate and degree programs that will prepare you for a number of careers in this up-and-coming industry.
Web designers often create the front-end design of sites or complete static sites. They usually partner with developers who know how to do high-level programming and work with databases to develop e-commerce sites.
In the program, you’ll learn the fundamental skills needed to design a website and compete in today’s ever-changing digital industries. The web design and development degree combines the skills you need to create complete commerce sites. You’ll learn solid design techniques and the programming and database skills required to implement them—plus, you’ll work in programs in both Mac and PC, so you’ll be ready to create products in either environment.
