Learn JavaScript, PHP, C# and .NET at MCC and step into your new web development career! The Web Development Certificate covers hard coding and prepares you to program database-driven web sites. Start by taking two courses during the summer and you can earn your certificate in one calendar year.

Here's the recommended sequence for one-year completion:

  • Summer: CDM 110 Computer Literacy and PRG 105 Applied Logic
  • Fall: PRG110 C++ Programming 1, WEB 105 Web Fundamentals, DM 110 SQL/Database Concepts
  • Spring: PRG 147 JavaScript Programming 1, one of the web application courses, and WEB 115 HTML and CSS

All credits from your Web Development Certificate can be applied towards your Web Design and Development AAS.
