Elle Lagerstrom

2023 Education to Empowerment Scholarship Recipient

Elle Lagerstrom is studying to become a licensed therapist. She has always been passionate about helping others and wants to support people during their most vulnerable times. After graduating with her Associate in Science from MCC, Elle plans to transfer to a four-year school to earn a bachelor’s degree in psychology, and then graduate school to receive a master’s degree. Rather than viewing her classes as a necessity to graduate, she looks at them as something she’s grateful to go to and participate in. Elle also plays on the women’s tennis team at MCC. She credits the sport with shaping her into a better teammate, leader, and individual.
