Heartsaver First Aid CPR/AED and Bloodborne Pathogens Course at MCC Shah Center

February is American Heart Month—which makes it a great time for organizations to provide training for appropriate rescuer action in the event of a workplace emergency. McHenry County College is offering the American Heart Association's Heartsaver First Aid CPR/AED and Bloodborne Pathogens (BBP) course on Wednesday, February 12 from 9 a.m.– 4 p.m. at the Shah Center in McHenry.

This course is appropriate for participants with limited or no medical training who need a course completion card in First Aid, CPR and AED. It is also designed to meet Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements for anyone with a reasonable chance of coming into contact with bloodborne pathogens as a first responder in the workplace. Use Course Code NTE S03 003 to register. The course fee is $125.

To register, contact the MCC Registration Office at (815) 455-8588 or register online at www.mchenry.edu/shahregister. For more information, contact the MCC Shah Center at (815) 455-8593 or shahcenter@mchenry.edu.
