MCC Student Photography Featured in Gallery Reception[Tuesday, November 5, 2019]
The artwork of MCC photography students is on display as part of the newly-unveiled Viewfinder exhibit at the Old Woodstock Courthouse Art Center. The gallery will host an opening reception for the exhibit will be held on Thursday, November 7 from 5 – 7 p.m., 101 N. Johnson St. in Woodstock.
Selected photographs demonstrate the unique perspectives used by these young artists. "The work explores students' varied interests and showcases the different techniques they use to describe the world through photographs," said Justin Schmitz, instructor of photography at MCC.
The gallery features the work of MCC students Courtney Diebold, Kai Juhlin, John Rudzena, Jordan Fike, Ryan Grandt, Melissa Ragusin, Therese Kolodzik, Ben Sandquist, Angela Phistry, Matthew Bork, Jenna Ahrens, Haley Cleghorn, Janet Gaffney, Megan Gurba, Matthew Mathis, and Tarren Garcia. The photographs will be on display at the Old Woodstock Courthouse Art Center until January 19.
