New Welding Tech Scholarship Offered at MCC[Friday, April 19, 2019]
General Kinematics recently established a scholarship with the Friends of MCC Foundation. This is the first scholarship established to benefit credit welding students at MCC. McHenry County College students who are pursuing a welding technician certificate can apply for a new scholarship established by General Kinematics of Crystal Lake.
The General Kinematics Welding Scholarship will award $250 to one student pursuing their Welding Technician Certificate during the Fall 2019 Semester. This is the first scholarship established to benefit credit welding students. To qualify, a student must live in McHenry County and have earned at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA. The monies can be used for tuition and fees for the semester awarded.
Applicants must provide an essay describing their career, professional and personal goals.
General Kinematics provides vibratory equipment, rotary equipment, and process systems to leading manufacturing and material processing organizations throughout the world.
