MCC Instructors to Host Discussion on "The Power of the Presidency"[Thursday, April 4, 2019]
Join McHenry County College political scientists and historians as they discuss “The Power of the Presidency” and current political events at 2:30 p.m. April 17 in Room B166-167.
A panel discussion featuring six MCC history and political science instructors will include David White, Todd Culp, Ph.D., Noriaki Sasaki, Ph.D., Ribhi Salhi, Matthew Hensel and Chris Jaffe.
“This session will be an opportunity to have your questions answered, while we clarify what powers a president has, and how those powers are constrained by the Constitution, law, and policy,” said Sarah Sullivan, MCC history instructor.
The event is sponsored by the MCC History and Political Science Department. The event is free and open to the public. No registration is required.
