MCC to Host Woodstock Weavers Guild's 2018 Textile Fiber Arts Show[Wednesday, May 2, 2018]

McHenry County College features “Past and Present,” a Woodstock Weavers Guild 20th Anniversary Textile and Fiber Arts Show through May 29, in the college’s Epping Gallery, located in the hallway across from the bookstore in Building B.
The retrospective exhibit features past and present woven items from the Woodstock Weaver’s Guild membership, including jackets, scarves, shawls, rugs, purses and wall hangings.
Epping Gallery hours are 8 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Fridays and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays. Closed Sundays and Memorial Day.
Woodstock Weavers is comprised of professional and hobby weavers from the Woodstock area as well as Northern Illinois, Southern Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Iowa. The guild is involved with outreach programs such as Ag Expo, a bi-annual event that took place April 11.
The college is located at 8900 U.S. Hwy. 14 in Crystal Lake. Woodstock Weavers meet at 10 a.m. the first Wednesday of the month from September through June at the McHenry Farm Bureau. For more information about the Woodstock Weavers Guild, visit www.WoodstockWeaversGuild.org.
