MCC Art Galleries Feature Paintings, Drawings, Sculpture by Mark Arctander[Thursday, March 22, 2018]
“Untilted,” a mixed media drawing and “Submergent Vegetation,” an oil on panel painting, are on display in an art exhibit featuring work by MCC art instructor both by Mark Arctander.
McHenry County College is hosting an art exhibit "New Work," by MCC art instructor Mark Arctander through April 13 in Gallery One and Gallery Two, inside and outside the library, respectively.
The exhibit features paintings, drawings and sculpture from Arctander, who has taught art classes at MCC for the past 16 years. Arctander resides in Woodstock. He earned his Master of Fine Arts degree from Northern Illinois University and his Bachelor of Arts degree from Western Illinois University.
