MCC Accepting Vendor Applications for Green Living Expo, Early Registration Deadline Sept. 12

McHenry County College (MCC) is now accepting vendor applications for its popular Green Living Expo on November 5.

“This event is a great opportunity for green businesses to connect with community members,” said Kim Hankins, director of sustainability at MCC. “It’s a one-stop shop to showcase your products and services to those interested in eco-friendly options and incorporating sustainable principles in their lives.”

The expo is back in person for the first time since November 2019. To celebrate the event’s return, multiple food trucks will be on-site—plus a 2,500-gallon fish tank which has historically been a big draw for attendees.

“We’re also including a free virtual booth with every registration,” said Hankins. “Virtual booths go live the day of the expo and will stay up for six months so attendees can find your organization throughout the holiday season and beyond. Plus, we provide full support to help you set up your virtual booth.”

The early registration deadline for vendors is September 12. Nonprofit registration costs $40 and business registration is $70. Registration fees increase after September 12. Nonprofits and businesses can also register as sponsors for $75 and $200 respectively. Supplemental funds to cover registration fees for certain nonprofits and businesses may be available.
