The Softball camp, which runs June 27–30, will help players improve their overall game with drills in hitting, infield defense, outfield defense, and pitching. It will be led by Wally Warner, MCC’s Head Women’s Softball Coach. The program for girls entering grades 5–8 runs from 9–11:30 a.m., and from 1–3 p.m. for those entering grades 9–12. The camp costs $75 per person.

The Baseball camp, led by MCC’s Baseball coaching staff, will provide instruction and drills for essential skills such as hitting, fielding, and pitching. It is open to students entering grades 4–8 and runs from 9–11:30 a.m. June 27–30. The camp costs $45 per person.

Volleyball camp runs June 21–23 and provides instruction on passing, setting, digging, attacking, blocking, and serving. The session for girls in grades 9–12 runs from 8–10 a.m., and 11 a.m.–1 p.m. for boys and girls in grades 6–8. Specialty camps for setters/hitters and passing/defense are also available in the afternoon. All Volleyball camps are led by Kyle McCall, MCC’s Head Volleyball coach and Shari Mayner, Assistant Volleyball Coach. The camp costs $75 per person.

“These camps are perfect for students looking to improve their game or get a little more practice in this summer,” said Jared Wacker, coordinator of student athlete success at MCC. “Campers get to interact with college coaches and learn new techniques while having fun playing the game with their peers.”
