MCC Expands Tutoring Services by Partnering with Online Program TutorMe

McHenry County College (MCC) is extending the tutoring services available to students with online program TutorMe. The program offers 24/7, free online tutoring to students who may need extra support, need to meet outside traditional business hours, or need help in a subject not covered in the Sage Learning Center, MCC’s existing on-campus/online tutoring program.

“We’re excited to expand our tutoring services,” said Sonia Reising, assistant vice president of student affairs at MCC. “This program allows us to provide support to students anytime, anywhere and in more subjects than ever before. It reinforces MCC’s commitment to student success and is yet another resource our students can take advantage of as they work toward their goals.”

The College’s Sage Learning Center, which currently offers free tutoring in accounting, biology, chemistry, math, physics, Spanish, writing, and occupational therapy assistant courses, will continue to offer walk-in/drop-in appointments with its expert tutors both in person and online via Zoom.
